Manage a portfolio of clients consisting of charities, limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and personal tax.
Ensure that client tasks are completed accurately, scheduling them in a way that is timely and efficient either personally or by delegation to other staff members.
Ensure that client information is accurately input into Sage accounts / payroll and then transferred to appropriate software for the production of financial statements and tax returns.
Monitor client billing periodically against timesheet data and liase with directors regarding possible fee updates.
Conduct new client initial meetings and be first point of contact for new enquiries in the absence of the directors.
Monitor setting up new client records, to include central MLR and auto- enrolment schedule.
Exploit possible marketing opportunities to encourage new business and monitor website content.
Foster good client relationships and work alongside the directors on business development .
Regular liason with the directors on client and practice issues.
Provide support to new and existing staff as needed and source training opportunities.
Work with directors to establish goals and objectives for each year and enhance the development of staff.
Key required skills will be a high level of numeracy, book-keeping, payroll and auto-enrolement
There is an element of on-site work with selected clients
The candidate must have at least 5 years PQE with appropriate technical skills and be client facing.
Salary for the role will be commensurate with experience and negotiable.
